In 2018, the Religious Missionary Institute of the Apostles of Jesus will celebrate Golden Jubilee. The Order was founded by Very Reverend Bishop Sisto Mazzoldi, MCCJ and Very Reverend Father John Marengoni, MCCJ at Moroto, Uganda in 1968. The Religious Missionary Institute of the Apostles of Jesus was founded for the express purpose of evangelizing Africa and the world. The purpose is to have a total commitment to the service of spiritual, pastoral and social well being of all people with preference to the poor, in the spirit of Christ who came to serve and not to be served. The mission is to lead the people to have the “fullness of life” (Jn.10:10). The specific charism consists of following “Christ the Good Shepherd.”
The celebration will be an opportune time to reflect on the Mission and the insights gained at the Apostles of Jesus and plan for the mission ahead. The celebration will lead us to a deeper understanding and appreciation of our call and journey as followers of Jesus and to nurture and deepen our faith.
Please help the Apostles of Jesus in their preparation towards the celebration of this great event!
